This has allowed me to take days as I wish to run away to the city for a flash mob. We asked Abbie what inspired her to join Flash Mob America: I signed up for the FMA mailing list as soon as I saw the video for the In The Heights flash mob for Lin-Manuel Miranda. I was floored that something so surprising and epic could be accomplished. My first mob wasnt dancing; we did a simple exercise routine in the middle of Seventh Avenue in front of the Sheridan but I was hooked. Rising early to get on the bus to the big city was an adventure wherever it was taking me and it wasnt long before I began connecting with new friends and just having a blast providing these joy through surprise moments for people we didnt even know. The biggest hook is the connection for a few hours with people that escalates to the event and then stays with us as a great memory. We are forever connected by the shared experience.
